Inspection of an Amish Home
Hey there, home enthusiasts! It's Mike Vakos from Tri-County Inspections, and I've got a new inspection video to share with you today. Picture this: rolling hills, scenic vistas, and the charm of rural Ohio. Now, add a dash of uniqueness to the scene—an Amish built home inspection.
In the heart of this picturesque landscape, I found myself tasked with inspecting a home crafted by the skilled hands of the Amish community. It was a one-of-a-kind experience, and I'm eager to take you on this journey with me.
Never Compromise Thoroughness
First off, let's address the elephant in the room—power, or rather, the absence of it. As I stepped into the Amish built home, it was immediately apparent that traditional amenities like electrical outlets were nowhere to be found. Instead, the home relied on a blend of solar power, candles, and gas—a testament to the resourcefulness of its creators.
Now, you might be wondering, how does one conduct a thorough inspection in such unique circumstances? Well, that's where the expertise of Tri-County Inspections shines through. Whether a property boasts modern conveniences or embraces a more rustic lifestyle, we're equipped to handle it all.
Despite the absence of traditional power sources, our inspection process remained comprehensive. From assessing structural integrity to evaluating safety measures, no stone was left unturned. Amish built or not, our commitment to providing top-notch inspection services knows no bounds.
But perhaps the most fascinating aspect of inspecting an Amish built home lies in its cultural significance. Each corner of the house tells a story of craftsmanship, tradition, and a way of life deeply rooted in history. It's a reminder that homes aren't just structures—they're reflections of the communities that build them.

In conclusion, the Amish built home inspection was more than just a job—it was an adventure. It reminded me that in the world of home inspections, diversity is not just welcomed, but celebrated. Until next time, remember, there's no place like a meticulously inspected home.
From Mike Vakos, owner and head home inspector:
...Hey guys, Mike here with Tri-County inspections. And in today’s video really quick I want to talk to you about Amish built houses. I’m actually out here in rural Ohio. It’s a beautiful area if you can see here from the window, beautiful countryside. This is kind of a unique situation; so I’m inspecting this house - Amish built and there’s no power here at all. If you look around, there’s no outlets, nothing it’s all a little bit of solar, and then mostly candles and gas to be honest with you. We can inspect it whether it has outlets or doesn’t have outlets. If it has power or doesn’t have power, Amish built or non-Amish built; we can take care of it. We can inspect it for you. If you have any unique properties like this, give us a call or shoot us a text. This is Mike at Tri-County inspections and that’s one more reason to get an inspection. Thank you."
