Mike has performed over 1000 field inspections and strives to deliver an honest, fair and professional report for all his clients. He has a passion for helping home buyers, sellers and real estate agents as they work through their real estate transactions and understands the needs of all parties involved.
Not unlike most home inspection companies the home inspectors are on the road and call home base their home. Since transitioning from Mike Musto to Mike Vakos the official address of Tri-County Inspections has moved to Avon, Ohio where Mike and his family call home. Mike has lived in the Avon area since 2009 with his wife, three children and German Shepherd. His wife is a middle school teacher in the Westlake School system and their children are very active in the Avon Schools with studies, sports and other extra circular activities, so Mike is very active in multiple communities. It stands to reason that home inspections in and around Avon and Lorain county have the shortest turn around times but with Tri-County Inspections on the road daily, your home inspection is quickly scheduled and completed no matter which of the ten counties it's in.
Deca-County Home Inspections Now
Tri-County Inspections has been providing home inspections throughout Cuyahoga, Lorain and Medina counties since 2001, when Mike Musto first started this home inspection business out of his hometown of Columbia Station, Ohio. As Mike expanded his business and demand through personal referrals and relationships with real estate agents grew, so did the coverage area of Tri-County Inspections. What originally began, almost twenty years ago, as a home inspection business servicing Cuyahoga, Lorain and Medina counties has increased to cover the ten counties surrounding Cleveland, Akron and their suburbs: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina and now Lake County, Summit County, Wayne County, Holmes County, Geauga County, Portage County and Stark County.
A Tale of Two Mikes
Mike Vakos began working with Mike Musto after leaving the insurance business. Both Mikes had known each well and worked together on occasion, with Mike Vakos having owned his own insurance business for over a decade and also owning multiple properties, the two collaborated many times on issues relating to issues of home safety, maintenance and home repairs. As Mike Musto was looking to retire from the home inspection business the transition for Mike Vakos to take over as owner, operator and home inspector of Tri-County Inspections was seamless. Mike Musto is now retired from the home inspection business but continues to support the growth of the company through his expertise and knowledge of the industry.
